As you know, starting from windows 7 – the location for start-up folder has been changed. Access start-up folder was pretty straight forward in Windows XP. So instead of going deep down in to the app data folder structure you may use below one line on run command to quickly navigate to start-up folder of Windows 7 or 8 and Windows server 2008 or 2012.

Enter Shell:Startup to open the start-up folder of the logged on user.
Enter Shell:Commonfolder to open the public start-up folder.
